I love libraries. I’m fortunate enough to work in one now and hope to continue learning about and working in libraries for a long time. I started this blog with several goals in mind:
- Learn about the internet. I wanted to learn the basics of how webpages work and begin to understand some of the alphabet soup of internet languages (HTML, PHP, CSS, etc.).
- Write more. Having a public venue and forum will hopefully encourage me to write more often.
- Contribute to the library blog world. I have deeply enjoyed reading people’s blogs and twitter streams to learn what other libraries are doing, struggling with, and triumphing over. I wanted to add my own small voice to that chorus.
Those are my goals – for the moment – and I will evaluate and re-evaluate them as things progress.
